Why don’t journalists link to primary sources?
I mean, doesn't everyone know, or even assume that everything they read should not be taken at face value? I would like to think critical thinking is inherent with most people, and it's only a few extreme cases where its absence is evident.
But then again, given the snow job that is religion, and the number of people not willing to fess up and assert their inability to buy into that fairy tale, one has to wonder. At the end of the above article he says this:
if you don’t link to primary sources, I just don’t trust you.
I guess I go even more extreme, because I am skeptical of everything; even the authors of primary sources have biases.
