To become a radiographic technologist in this state, two years of classroom study, along with the same amount of clinical time (three 8 hour days a week), and passing a 200 question national exam are required to get licensed. Classes ended earlier last month, clinicals a few weeks later, and today I sat for what is known as the 'Registry'. Passing means it is really, finally over. We leave for Hawaii Wed morning, and I have absolutely nothing that needs my immediate attention until I start work at the end of the month. I worked weekends, and the program consumed most of my week days. It's fuckin over, and I don't know what to do with myself... except maybe try out various concoctions with the limoncello I made.
