I try to read The Daily Dish every day, but that might change. Andrew is posting virtually nothing else, displaying Twitter messages and pictures from the region. It is quite unnerving.

I don't mean the story is unnerving, I mean his treatment is. He verifies almost nothing, and a lot of the pictures are reminiscent of the Reuters scandal concerning the Israeli/Palestinian conflict.

Over at The Big Picture, they have a vivid pictorial account. Most of the bloody victims show lots of blood but no actual damage to the bodies. In one of the photos, civilians are running from police on motorbikes, and two of them look like teenagers out for some mischievous fun. I made up a story of the picture; two kids decided to use the situation for some fun. They found and taunted some cops on motorbikes and, the cops being not much older, gave in to the verbal abuse and started chasing them into a crowd. Below is the picture in question;
