I finished Ender's Game today. Much more interesting than the first time I read it oh so many years ago. I knew there were books Card wrote to extend the story, but I don't usually care for books of this sort, because it has been my experience they are never as good as the first book, and I tire of such books of a series quickly. Still, I went looking again to find out more about the series, because the idea is an interesting one, and because I've heard of Card expounding his opinion recently on controversial issues.

I found this. He certainly goes all out apologizing for his uncertainty of the authenticity of the book of mormon. The article has me considering reading more of his stuff, just to see if he makes his belief plain, or rather if an agenda gets in the way of telling a good story. An agenda behind a story will usually ruin it for me, even if it is an agenda I support.

At least it gives me more to bring up when we converge to talk about the book.
