Start school Monday. Monday is the longest day, from 8:00 straight through to 2:00. I was telling my wife this, she started making like I was whining. She never misses an opportunity to let someone know she's already got her degree. :)

Had to get the motorcycle taken care of, the fork seals were leaking. Wanted to take care of it because there's motorcycle parking all over campus, which will make it easier to get around. I have a parking spot for the car, but it's at a lot at one of the corners just off campus. I timed it the other day, it takes me 20 minutes to get to the farthest reaches of campus from the lot. I'll only take the car when I have to, the plan is to do the bike most of the time to save on gas and walking times.

There was an article in the news today about a man getting fired for stating his views during a Bush campaign speech. If Bush were smart, which he is not of course, he would call the guy's former employer and urge them to reconsider, kinda make amends with everyone so the guy gets re-instated. What a PR ploy that would be, the news would be all over it, and Bush would look like a hero, taking time out for the small guy, even a dissenting bloke. Then, if the guy takes his job back they could make it out like he should maybe rethink his position. And if he didn't, he would look like an ass and, by association, everyone else that is against the President these days would be looked upon as being the same way.

Never happen though, the boys in the Bush circle just aren't that savvy.
