If you've read any of this blog, you know I'm an atheist. This fact is relevant to this post, because I consider myself opposed to any kind of religion when it is thrown in my face uninvited. I guess it will always be uninvited, so that's kind of a moot point.

I was going through my bulk folder at Yahoo today, mainly to ensure they aren't putting something there that isn't sposed to be there. There is spam there from a place called christian debt advisors. It's the second one I've noticed. After noticing the first one, I thought that if these people were true christians that followed even halfway decent ideals, I wouldn't be getting this spam. Face it, nobody likes dealing with spam. Ask around, maybe one in a hundred would actually engage in any kind of dealings arising from spam.

So, after this second one, I wanted to send them an email to point this out. I clicked on one of the few links in the email, the one to 'unsubscribe'. It's really funny this one, because it takes you to a web page, and the first line is Unsubscribe request received. So far, so good. After just a few seconds though, a number of ads pop up!! No, I don't mean I get pop up ads, I mean ads in the web page, that you are supposed to click on to go to.

Get this, one of the ads asks, "Which girl is hotter, choose and win a free DVD" Is this the kind of link a 'christian based' business would condone?

Yeah, it's small potatoes in relation to the big picture, but if it weren't for shit like this, I wouldn't have anything to bitch about. :)
