I have been looking at the news. Someone asked the question, "Why is Paris Hilton so famous?" I think I know. She is famous because she has access to bottomless resources. Her father obviously is the source. Why does he not do something about her escapades? Because, the more outrageous her antics, the more 'Hilton' is in the news. She is making the hotel name a common household term.
I saw Spiderman today. The bad reviews have some merit. My daughter says there was too many things going on. She was right. It wasn't very good. They didn't put enough work into it, some scenes were even corny, and obviously so.
The first tropical storm of the season is dying. We are in Greensboro for my daughter's graduation, the weather is nice, contributed to by the storm maybe? :)

I was ranting about what a waste of resources people like her are one day, when I realized that actually they provide a valuable service to many millions of lower class people. She provides enormous entertainment on a daily basis. So perhaps she is doing good for these stupid illiterate people by raising the excitement level of their boring lives. You think?
