Yes, I don't have enough to do. I was looking at tablet PCs on the internet and decided to see what was available on Ebay. It seems these computers aren't used enough by people to warrant a lot of production, so there are few choices, and they are expensive. Looking on ebay, I found a Thinkpad starting at $200, ending in less than a day, with no bids. So, I checked out the '100%' feedback rating. Actually, it was just below that, covering a few years. I noticed that all the feedback was from sellers, quite a few. 58 to be exact. This person bought a few things, but sold nothing. I decided to see what was being offered. Tons of computers. Over ten pages of listings of computers too cheap to be real.

I asked a question through ebay, asking this person if they were serious, and if they were, would they consider shipping a computer first based on my 100% rating. I got an immediate response, asking me to contact them at another email account. Shortly after that (I really don't know how long, I was studying at the time) ebay sent me an email telling me to beware if I receive requests to make deals outside of ebay. Like I said, I was studying then, so I just glanced at it then went back to my reading.

When I was done, I checked out the listing on the Thinkpad I had been looking at, and it had been removed. Not only that, all the listings had been removed. No doubt someone at ebay was alerted somehow to the shady listings and did whatever they do. I just wonder how many people fall for scams like this. I'm sure there are some perpetrated much better than this one was. I look at it this way, if people DIDN'T fall for this shit, others would stop trying to PULL it.

So, another website I found bashes Bill OReilly quite a bit. Very slanted, but I found something interesting. Bill and Fox was sued by a former executive for sexual harassment. The documents can be found on smokinggun.com; there is a suit and counter suit. The harassment suit goes into details about conversations Bill had on the phone with this woman. Very explicit, there is one sentence alleging that Bill talks about his 'big cock'.

It's just one side of the story, and I am skeptical about everything, but I thought this was kind of telling. In the counter suit papers, it says this; "The length of the quotes and the specific verbiage used made it appear that Mackris (her name) was taping O'Reilly during the conversations."

Hmmmm. If it weren't true, why would they accuse her of 'taping'? To be sure, I'm even skeptical of the documents on the smoking gun website. How do I know they are real? I could produce something just like they have on the website quite easily. Still, I think it's pretty interesting.....
