There is a video of a guy named John Conner that accosts a person having lunch at a sidewalk cafe. The guy he interviewed is Danny Bonaduce, and he is questioned about whether he lends any credence to the 9/11 conspiracy theory that implicates our administration as being at the least intentionally complacent toward a possible attack. Eventually, Danny tells the dude to fuck off. He also uses the twisted logic I've heard so many times before that people like him use to question another's 'patriotism'.
Basically it goes like this. Someone questions the motives or activities of someone in the government. Lately it's been the president for obvious reasons. A supporter of the defendant doesn't like what they are saying, and so wants to shut them up. Only problem is, it is illegal to do so. I believe most would say it is unAmerican to even think of such a thing. Has something to do with freedom of speech.
What they do basically is 'suggest' that they keep silence. They should honor their good fortune of living in a country that allows criticism by NOT CRITICIZING. The implication is that anyone that criticizes our government is unpatriotic, and they should be grateful that another is forced to refrain from violating the basic rights of the critic by shooting them. They act as if the basic right of freedom of speech should only be extended to those with whom they share a common point of view. The assertion that patriots keep quiet if they disagree only show that the person suggesting this either hasn't really thought about it, or are incapable of discerning the unreasonableness of such a suggestion.
In another interview also found on the web Danny was calming expressing himself. He talked about celebrities that voice their opinions, saying that they are wrong for believing their celebrity status makes them smart enough to speak out. People become entertainers because they aren't smart enough to do anything else, which proves they aren't smart enough to understand controversial issues and should stick to entertaining.
I found three interviews of Danny, and that was more than enough to indicate just how much of an idiot he really is.
