I watched the super bowl last night, the only football game I'll watch during the year, if I watch any at all. What a sorry ass game. I have to take that back though, I didn't see the whole game, because I was on the phone most of the time, talking with my mother, my aunt from MI, a friend from NC, and my mother in law. I was also surfing the net sporadically. So, I didn't catch every detail, but enough to know the game sucked.
There were 3 or 4 turnovers due to pass interceptions, most in favor of the Steelers, who won the game. You can't really say they won though, the Seahawks beat themselves. They played so fucking bad I was embarrassed for them. Not that I can play football at all, but I sure can tell when the playing leaves something to be desired. I was dumbfounded too, when the game had less than a minute on the clock, and Seattle was more than a touchdown behind and in possession of the ball. The quarterback, one of the worst players of the game, if not the worst, decided to come alive, and pushed for a touchdown. They didn't get one, there was another turnover, but I was wondering what they were hoping to accomplish. Maybe the stats of the game would mean something, I don't know. It did seem rather pointless. Maybe a better score for them would have been an indication to people later on that they didn't play as badly as they did.
Anyway, just something to bitch about. Time to get ready for work.....
