I read shit on the Internet just about every day. Most of it is just the same old thing, and today is no different. I like reading Dispatches From the Culture Wars. Reading today, and following some links and comment threads I eventually found Gribbit Online. Funny stuff, you can almost see the spittle flying.

I was perusing the site and found this gem. I think this is the root of the problem with closed minded people like this.

Trolls don’t actually read what they comment on. They cherry pick key phrases out of context and assume they know where you are going. Since Owen Bideway hasn’t left enough information to judge his political loyalties other than his comment seemed to be condescending to Conservatives leading me to believe that he is a libtarded Obama drone. He, along with the rest of his ilk, should be ignored and avoided at all cost.

He castigates cherry pickers as unworthy of attention, then advocates judging the points people make by the make of their political loyalties. Bigotry with people like this is a virtue.

I wasn't sure the term 'bigotry' was the word I was looking for, so I looked it up.

A bigot is a person who is obstinately and irrationally, often intolerantly, devoted to his or her own religion, political party, organization, belief, or opinion, especially one who regards or treats those of differing devotion with hatred and intolerance.

This definition is the perfect description of the mindset behind the excerpt above.

Further reading shows there are no comments allowed. He explains himself in a long diatribe about the sad state of affairs under an Obama Presidency. Then, in big bold letters, reiterates his bigotry.

This site isn’t about what you think, it’s about what I think. I couldn’t care less about what you think. So don’t expect to have a voice here because you have none. And you never will.
