Finished Blaze, a trunk novel by Stephen King. Kind of anti-climactic in the end, but a pretty good story.
I've started Age of American Unreason by Susan Jacoby. In her opinion, today's lack of intellectualism among the general population is due to television and religion. That is the gist so far, though I am only on chapter six.
