My younger brother sent me an email to check in, because we haven't talked in a while. I sent him this email....

Been busy cause I took a job at the hospital on the weekends, two 12 hour shifts, to get more experience. I am studying for a test for a limited xray license, so I can take xrays on the weekend shifts of arms, legs and chest. That test is this coming wed, so I've been studying for it when I'm not at clinical or work. I'll have a two week break in Aug, then start back to school, when I'll be busy with classes, studying, clinical and work. I'm doing all this because there are two schools in town pumping out xray techs, so there is a glut and they are finding it hard to get jobs. They already want me to work at the hospital when I'm done with school in May, that's why they hired me for the weekend shifts, but I'm taking nothing for granted.

So, if they don't take away social security and/or my pension because of the fucking deficit, I'll be doing better than alright. If they do, at least I'll have a job. :)
