There is an interesting economic blog that has some interesting content. The posts are sparse, but informative.
I haven't been posting much because I am studying to take the test to get issued a limited x ray tech license. If and when I get that, I will get more money for the job I took on the weekend. It is a tech assist job at the hospital where I currently do clinicals. I quit a weekend gig in January because it was too much time away from anything constructive. There was a lot of downtime, but I was so bored I couldn't study. So, I quit, and have enjoyed the time off. I would prefer to have a few days off a week, but doing an assist job with a limited license will give me much more experience. I'm not crazy about it, working again while going to school, but it is for my own good.
Anyway, working 40 hours a work giving what I call 'complimentary labor', plus 24 hours paid labor, will leave little time for anything else. They expect me occupy the position until I graduate; I hope I can last that long.
