I googled the scientist that predicted an active hurricane season. It seems he is a staunch opponent of anthropogenic warming theories. I found that interesting, kind of like the recent book about the famous atheist converting to religion.
Speaking of which, Dawkins was interviewed by Bill Maher on his show, and he mentioned a section on his website, dawkins.net, called 'converts corner'. There people comment about the book; about how, after reading it, they have unconverted, so to speak. In my opinion, concerning at least some of these people, if that's all it took it won't take much to convert again. Sam Harris' The End of Faith was much more compelling. Maybe if Harris hadn't tried to be so PC with the title, there would have been a much more vigorous controversy about that book.
