In the UK they are watching the elections closely. A British reporter did an interesting piece about it, the video here.
This is why candidates think they want their constituents to be of the religious persuasion. They are very susceptible to suggestion. These people want their president to have their values, and they give no thought to the notion that another point of view might be ok, and no thought to the notion that their 'values' might be imposed on others against their will.
Anyway, I intended to get in some personal things, but just had to multitask and watch the video while I got around to this page. So to that end, I am still on break for another week. Spent most of my off time at the clinical site when I didn't have to work. It will pay off with more experience, more competencies, and more clinical hours done. I was able to do much more with no other students around, which was really nice. This weekend I was dreadfully sick though, so I didn't go in Monday, and had the root canal that I needed done yesterday. It is surprising that it feels ok, I don't even need the pills they prescribed for pain; I thought I would have a massive headache. I am still a little under the weather, but I went in anyway, planning to leave early. There wasn't much going on, so they didn't miss me. I really should be getting things done around the house, or studying, but here I sit checking out the latest in the world and commenting on everything.
