I don't like cops. Well, I have to admit that isn't true, only stupid cops, but then most seem to be stupid... or maybe just the stupid cops stick out. I know this has no basis in fact, but it seems a gun and a badge turns a person's brain to mush, destroying the rational parts while preserving basic survival instincts.

There is a story about a guy that puts a sign in public that implores people to impeach Bush, and gets a ticket for it. Ok, not TOO interesting considering the events of the time, but there is a little exchange that is typical of an authority figure that can't reasonably justify themselves.

Egler said that when he was stopped in Kent, he asked the police officer how his sign differed from Realtors posting signs on public property saying "This way to the house for sale." He said the officer asked, "You don't know the difference?" but never explained what it might be.

Of course, because the difference is in the lame brain cop's mind, allowed to fester because the rational parts of the brain that are supposed to root out unreasonable concepts have been crippled somehow.

There is more information in the article that leads to interesting stuff. The guy with the sign is represented by Columbus attorney Bob Fitrakis, and has a website that leans just a little. Ok, quite a bit actually. Google turns up a lot on him, and he seems to be an activist lawyer type....

But even though I am on a break from school, I still have things to get me out of the house early. A friend of the wife has a computer that has a hard drive that I replaced some time ago. There are kids that use the computer, and weird things keep happening to it. The latest is the owner's login doesn't work. She clicks on her name at Windows startup, and the computer freezes. I finally told them I would make a house call, because the situation is so bad they would end up paying through the nose to have someone fix their problems. They live an hour away, so it's a haul. I don't know why I do this to myself. I did tell my wife to stop volunteering me though. :)

Excuse me for my bad English and please verify this sentence of the last comment; “I think you did in wrong way as same as you” to “I think like you; USA did wrong ‘saving’ in Iraq”
From your answer I guess you got this.
Most of Iranian people have no real news, even the internal news and no receiver (it’s forbidden) to see the world and their progress, world’s pleasures, world’s beliefs, they restrict us by the name of Islam, even they removed our past and history, when you turn on TV here, you just hear enemies, death to USA and Israel; they want to rub your religion, women, oil and rights. It’s amazing and the most of the people especially whom lives far from big cities have to believe these. When you turn on the TV you just see Akhounds and crying for Islamic pastor witch Arabs never done. They frighten us by devil and hell.
I said all of this to ask you to help us to be aware! we need just communications.
same as you from the point of religion I believe in no ones too, they are restricting progress and time consuming, I see this here in any place of Iran. However any belief is respectable and I learned many lessons of them.
thanks for your attention
