Week three of class. The instructor is much better, yesterday's lab wasn't wasted, and we were there the whole time. She spent some time going over a lot of things we could've gotten the first two weeks, so you could say some was wasted in that manner, but it was productive.

Her class beforehand is mindboggling. There is a lot of information, and I tried recording it with a digital recorder, but the recording didn't come out very well. I need to check some settings, change some to see if it will help. She goes way too fast to take comprehensive notes... I may ask about her posting her power points on the class page.

Nothing much else to say. I took a lot of notes out of the workbook at work this weekend, though it didn't help much. There is a lot to know. I found it interesting that costophrenic angles stuck in my head right away, but vertebra prominens or carina I can't remember to save my life.

CNN is frequented much less often on this computer, but I was there today and saw they changed their page layout. Someone should tell them that unless they change the content drastically the layout only pushes people away if they have to rediscover how to get around. Another site I visit posted a video of Billo ranting about Jet Blue associating itself with a web site called Daily Kos. I don't think I've missed this site, but Billo did bring it to my attention, and I might read it more, and traffic at the site will definitely increase dramatically because of Bill's exposure, along with their revenue. Hasn't Bill learned anything from this Administration? One of the best ways to deny something is to ignore it completely. Talking about it just allows awareness, so if something stays below the radar people aren't aware of what should be discussed.

There is an article in the Daily Star that talks about Tucson being the natural meeting place for companies doing business in Mexico. Companies that coordinate business between Mexico and overseas companies could put offices in Tucson, bringing in revenue to the city. This idea outta sit well with those that think all illegals should be deported yesterday. It is interesting that the Daily Star doesn't have a comment option for this piece. Not sure why some articles do while others don't, but I wonder if the content of the article could have anything to do with it....
