With all the hubbub concerning Cheney's antics, the most recent being his waltz with the ISO, it might seem odd that nobody has seen fit to start impeachment proceedings. Only for a moment though, because when you stop to consider the repercussions, the end result might not be very desirable. Is it possible to impeach the VP alone? Is it possible to impeach both at the same time? If so, next in line is Pelosi. The attending mayhem would surpass the California recall... just imagine that circus on a whirlwind tour of the country.

So, it seems good judgment to let the issue ride for the moment in light of everything else going on. Yet, it seems they know this, Bush and Cheney, and empowers them to even more mischief.
