I'm watching a clip of the debate of the Democrats in Phoenix. It is nothing more than a forum for further Republican bashing. A typical question is what the candidate would do in a situation that needed a presidential presence. They are all questions about situations that HAVE happened, and the candidates use the questions to critique the results of the situations, situations with which it is plain the majority of the people think things could have been handled better. They are trying to pander to the public, instead of putting forth any ideas for their own presidency should they be elected. I've seen ten minutes. I'm looking for the rest, hoping it isn't just more of the same.

Here is a statement Dennis Kucinich made.

"It's possible, I believe, to take a course of action where you can get all the people of America in support of a culture of life which includes prenatal care, postnatal care, universal health care, a living wage, all those things that give support to life."

I don't like what this implies. Granted, it all sounds well and good, those are nice things. But it's the phrase preceding all those things, that we can take a course of action that will get all the people of America to support a culture of life. That isn't a government function. When governments try to impose culture on it's citizens, it is always bad. Does he even know what the fuck he's saying? It seems they are all using buzz words and phrases that will appeal to the public, rather than telling us what they will do for the country.
