We face a lot of evil men, People like Osama Bin Laden comes to mind. And what in my background equips me to deal with evil and bad men.
Oh SNAP!! Fuckin hilarious! You just have to see the video though, it's obviously off the cuff, and right around the time she started talking about her background, she gets this look on her face that says what she's about to say might not be the best idea. She starts looking around, unsure of where it's going... or maybe not sure of how it's going to come across. Of course, it didn't come out well, which led to Jon Stewart showing it. Yeah, he was all over that one. I'm glad too, it was funny as hell.
For the past few days there have been three computers in the house up and running. This is to prepare for the classes I am taking, Cisco networking and Windows Server 2003 for the most part. I have server on one of the computers in the other room, and XP on the other, both hooked into a D-Link router so I could get them both networked. I was just reading yesterday that server 2003 can be set up to route for the other computers, but I had already installed the D-Link. It would take a while to set up cause I have no clue what I'm doing, so this is best for now. I'm sure I will want to do it just to see how it will work, but when I have more time maybe.
The way I have the computers set up now, I have two monitors on this computer, with VNC installed everywhere so I can look at everything from here. Actually it's TightVNC. So, I can VNC into the server in the other room and have that desktop on the one monitor, while I work on the other. I just decided to go with that setup last night, and realized I could get into both machines from here. When I finally receive the materials for Server 2003 it will help, I won't have to be running back and forth, not quite so much anyway.
Over the weekend and since I've been poring over the Cisco materials. It is complicated stuff, and the course is only two months long, the final date being March 9th. Not a lot of time to learn IP addressing, the OSI layers and where the hardware fits into everything. So I've been trying to hit that heavy to get a little ahead.
Jon Stewart was also making fun of some reporters, as usual. They were all over the airwaves with the news that Obama went through a Muslim school as a boy. The word for school in Arabic is Madrasa. So these people, the channel was Fox (no surprise there), were all over it, saying it was "huge" news. Then they implicating Hillary in it, saying she was the one that dug up the 'dirt'.
Now I would be the first to throw the Quran up in any discussion with a Muslim and their beliefs, but this school is in Indonesia. Most of their students are Muslim, but being Muslim doesn't make you extreme. It has started already, digging up dirt on the candidates.
