I REALLY need to update my list of books finished. It's been so long since I've done anything about it, I can't remember what I've read, or tried to read. There has been some stuff I just simply gave up on. So, I'll try to reconstruct everything. Not that anyone else would have an interest in what I've read, not to mention nobody would be interested in what I'm writing.
I'm going to go backward, cause that's the way I'm reading it off the Nomad....
TTC's Lost Christianities
Longitudes and Attitudes - Thomas Friedman
Let Freedom Ring - Sean Hannity
Intelligence in War - John Keegan (which I didn't finish)
History of the World - J. M. Roberts (also didn't finish)
Hegemony or Survival - Noam Chomsky
I think that's it. Lost Christianities was very interesting, a lot of stuff was discussed I didn't know about. Thought I would agree a lot less with Sean Hannity than I did, but I barely made it through the ending during which he preached most. He also compares people that complain about 'fuel burning SUVs' to people that complain about 'flag burning SOBs'. Not sure how they relate, but whatever. I do agree with him when he says people can't blame the government when they don't realize their 'American Dream'. Well, not completely I would suspect. I think he would reject the notion that society plays a part in a persons ability to 'make it' in America.
