Less than a month. Hey, I've been busy.
I was just browsing the newsgroups, specifically alt.atheism, and came across this little tidbit about a so called 'logical fallacy'. Apparently it's something theists use as an argument about the existence of a god, or the non belief of the existence of a god. This is how one person debates that specific point...
1. To be a Christian, one must believe that 'God' (ie, the Christian
God) is the only god that exists.
2. Allah and Krishna are gods.
3. If Allah and Krishna exist, 'God' is not the only god that exists.
4. To be a Christian, one must believe that Allah and Krishna do not
exist.
5. One cannot prove that Allah and Krishna do not exist without being
omnipotent. (by his premise and 2).
6. It's logical fallacy to believe that a god does not exist without
proof. (by his other premise).
7. It's logical fallacy to believe that Allah and Krishna do not exist
without proof. (by 2 and 6)
8. It's logical fallacy to be a Christian. (by 4 and 7)
I also came across this. Someone came up with this after someone else said they can't understand how an atheist can say there is no god. I think this is extremely hilarious...
